The stones. An emerald cut and a pear, both lab grown, 2 carats together, F color and VS1 clarity. The two shapes stand for the two people, which is the point of the toi et moi style. Lab grown diamonds are real diamonds, grown above ground with the same hardness, fire and brilliance as mined stones, at a fraction of the price.

The setting. Toi et moi setting, an emerald cut and a pear side by side. Each stone sits in its own claw prongs on an open band. The band is about 1.8 mm wide and the ring weighs about 2.9 grams in 14K gold. Weight changes a little with size.

Size and fit. Sizes 4 to 10 with the half sizes, in yellow gold, rose gold or white gold. White gold keeps the whole ring bright. Yellow and rose gold put a warm frame around a colorless stone. If the ring is a surprise, measure a ring she already wears on that finger, or message us and we will walk you through it.

Care. Warm water, mild soap and a soft brush under the stones where lotion collects. Keep it away from chlorine and harsh cleaners, store it apart from other pieces, and take it off for heavy work.
